Air Force officials announced this afternoon that they will create a "cross-functional task force on the religious climate at the United States Air Force Academy."
According to the Air Force press release, the task force will be pulled together by Lt. Gen. Roger A. Brady. It will address six key areas, among them Air Force policies on religious respect and tolerance, the religious climate and assessment tools used by the Academy and the practices of Academy leaders that "either enhance or detract from a climate that respects both the 'free exercise of religion' and the 'establishment' clauses of the First Amendment."
